Winter Classes and Workshops

Winter is here but don't let it stop you from being creative.  Please take a look at the adult classes (ages 14 and up) I am teaching at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield. 

Relief Printmaking
Saturday, February 5, 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (includes a half hour lunch break)
Curious about relief printmaking but don’t know where to start? In this class you will learn the basics of relief printmaking while making a set of note cards. The instructor will provide the images; all you have to do is attend. This is a perfect chance to make handmade valentines!

Keeping Memories
Mondays, Feb. 21-March 14, 2001, 6:00-8:30 p.m. (4 weeks)
Make mementos and little treasures into beautiful pieces of art. This class will introduce you to the basics of framing as we frame photos, prints, and any other unusual items. Find new and creative ways to make framing an art form! Some materials included.

Tiffany Knopow is a Wisconsin native and now resides in Burlington , WI . She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and recently her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Knopow has an active exhibition record including shows in the United States and South America . She was one of UW-Milwaukee's nominees for the 2007 National Dedalus Foundation Master of Fine Arts Fellowship and received a Layton Fellowship from UW-Milwaukee in 2008. Tiffany is currently teaching printmaking workshops for adults and children in the Milwaukee area. For more information visit http://www.tiffanyknopow.com/.

Cabinet is Open!

Cabinet, a collobrative installation















Join us for an opening reception on Sunday, Jan. 16th, from 2-4 p.m. at Chai Point, 1400 North Prospect Ave, Milwaukee. Jon Horvath, Tiffany Knopow, and Madeline McGrath have joined forces to create a site specific installation based on family narrative. The installation of brand new work is based inside one cabinet in the gallery space. Hope to see you there.....
